Bridal beauty - natural and relaxed
The secret of looking beautiful as a bride is to relax and keep the look simple, advised the Daily Mail.
According to the newspaper, the first thing to do is ensure hair is trimmed at least a week before the big day to get rid of split ends and let any colour settle down.
Cosmetics a la Carte make-up artist Laura Martin said: "On your wedding day you should look like yourself at your most beautiful.
"Always have a practice before the big day and take photographs so you can get an idea of how it will look in the pictures."
Barbara Daly, who did Princess Diana's make-up for her wedding, added: "Go easy on fake tans - you will only stand out for the wrong reasons."
A good night's sleep and a fresh cleansing and toning ritual on the morning of the big day will help any bride look awake and relaxed, the publication recommended.
Finally, hairdresser Errol Douglas, who styled Emilia Fox's wedding hair, advised brides to try and aim for a natural style and colour.
A survey by OnePoll.com has found that Wayne and Coleen Rooney's recent nuptials was the most tasteful celebrity wedding of all time, reports OK! magazine.
