Lily Allen spills the beans on brother Alfie's engagement

Outspoken singer Lily Allen broke the news of her brother's engagement to a room full of celebrities at last night's annual GQ Men of the Year Awards.

The 23-year-old revealed that younger brother Alfie, 21, is set to tie the knot with girlfriend Jaime Winstone - daughter of Brit actor Ray Winstone - who he has been dating for the past year.

Lily announced their secret engagement while hosting the awards, introducing the Kidulthood actress as her "soon-to-be sister-in-law".

"Show off your rock, show off your diamond," Lily added, as the shocked star responded by whispering: "No-one is supposed to know."

The stars were out in abundance for the annual celebrity and fashion event that recognises the achievements of Britain's male talent.

Some of the elite guest list in attendance included Liz Hurley, Elle McPherson, Boris Johnson, Gordon Ramsay and Sir Elton John, who co-hosted the awards.

It remains to be seen whether Lily will be bridesmaid at her brother's upcoming wedding after spilling the beans to the country's A-list.
