Nice weather 'a must-have' for a dream wedding

The most important feature of a dream wedding is good weather, a survey has found.

Alliance & Leicester revealed that nice weather is vital for 76 per cent of the poll respondents, followed by a picturesque venue (70 per cent) and stunning flowers (31 per cent).

Other things people claimed were necessary for the fairytale wedding were a handsome groom (29 per cent), a vintage car for transport (18 per cent) and fairytale wedding photo albums (16 per cent).

"Money can't buy you everything for the perfect wedding, with the weather being unpredictable at best," warned Richard Al-Dabbagh, head of personal loans at the firm. "This was best illustrated in the recent Rooney wedding."

Coleen and Wayne Rooney tied the knot in Italy and despite it being a rainy day, a OnePoll.com survey found that it was still thought of as the most tasteful celebrity wedding of all time, reported OK! magazine.
