Stella McCartney wants to design Scarlett Johansson's wedding gown
Stella McCartney has revealed that she would love to design the dress for actress Scarlett Johansson's upcoming nuptials.
The Lost in Translation actress and her fiance Ryan Reynolds announce their plans to wed earlier this week.
Speaking to People magazine at a cocktail party at her west Hollywood boutique, the fashion designer daughter of Sir Paul, said: "I'm definitely doing her wedding dress."
However, there is one hitch in her plan, Scarlett does not know it yet.
When questioned about the style of dress she would choose for the starlet, Stella joked: "You know, some kind of dodgy, black thing, Latex! Latex for Scarlett!"
The British designer added that she is "thrilled" for Scarlett and her husband-to-be Ryan.
Stella has experience in designing wedding gowns for high-profile nuptials, in 200 she created the gown that Madonna wore to her and Guy Ritchie's wedding.
The Brit designer also created a gown for her own big day in 2003. Along with her then boss Tom Ford, she designed a modern version of her late mother Linda's own gown.
