About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a chatty, tenacious and ambitious Sales Executive to join our London team.

If you’re a recent graduate or at the start of your sales career, and you love talking to people, learning about their businesses, and helping them grow - this is the perfect role for you.

You’ll be selling exhibition stands at our market-leading shows, speaking with everyone from boutique cake designers and photographers to venue stylists and bridal boutiques. Every call is different, every client has a story, and you’ll play a key role in helping them shine at The National Wedding Show.

It’s a great opportunity to learn the ropes of exhibition sales in a supportive, upbeat environment where your ideas and personality really matter.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Chatting with wedding businesses (mostly on the phone) to help them understand how exhibiting can grow their brand.
  • Building long-term relationships with clients so they rebook year after year.
  • Researching new leads and spotting the next big wedding trends and suppliers.
  • Managing your pipeline — from first contact to closing the sale.
  • Attending our five annual shows and seeing your hard work come to life onsite.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Spend an average of 1 hour 30 minutes per day on the phone, engaging with a mix of inbound leads and self-sourced suppliers.
  • Hit and exceed monthly individual and team sales targets (these vary month to month).
  • Book a minimum of 50 prospective suppliers for on-site show-arounds per event cycle.
  • Update the CRM daily, ensuring all notes, activity and deal stages are accurate and up to date.
  • Actively manage your sales pipeline, following up promptly and keeping opportunities moving through the funnel.

Who You Are

  • A people person -confident, curious, and comfortable picking up the phone.
  • Motivated by success, targets, and making things happen.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to juggle lots of conversations at once.
  • Interested in events, weddings, lifestyle brands, or small business culture.
  • A positive team player who loves learning and wants to build a long-term career in sales.
  • Able to attend all five weekend shows throughout the year (time off in lieu provided).
