The summer wedding season approaches and brides and grooms joined us to find their dream suppliers for the big day so here are our favourite catwalk moments!

Brides-to-be were treated with some of the UK’s finest bridal boutiques and designers showcasing their latest collections at the much-loved catwalk shows. If you missed it, fear not as we have compiled our favourite catwalk moments and bridalwear trends right here!

Feathers are currently taking the bridalwear industry by storm and we can see why! The feather-heavy skirt on the below Bromley Brides dress was a real attention grabber at our ExCeL show. If you’re searching for something unique to wear on your big day, this fresh and sophisticated twist on the classic dress silhouette will make sure all eyes are on you.

If keeping it simple is more your style then consider a minimalistic accent of feathers, like this stunning Georgia Scott gown.

Train over veil?

Veils are a bridalwear staple, traditionally flowing down the aisle behind the bride, but have you considered bridal train alternative? Extravagant trains may not be for the faint-hearted but will give you an impressive, regal entrance. While trains are typically no longer than eight feet you can dream big and go longer! You’ll just need to enlist the help of your flower girls and page boys.

Off The Shoulder Straps Are Back

Off the shoulder straps have made a comeback! Either kept sleek with a figure hugging dress or paired with a princess skirt, they look beautiful with just about any style. Add a colourful bouquet and a blush toned dress similar to this beautiful Lora Nova dress to give a feminine, summer bridal look.

And if you can’t pick just one of our favourite features….

…. then this Oriental Pearl dress is for you!

Classic Lace

Lace is a classic bridalwear fabric and incredibly versatile. Chosen by the likes of Kate Middleton and Priyanka Chopra for their own wedding dresses. If you’re looking for a traditional lace dress then the below Bromley Brides gown is perfect for creating your very own princess moment!

Our other favourite lace features:

David’s Bridal use a mesh panel to secure a scattering of lace around the neckline.

Katya Katya offers a modern take on the classic lace dress.

Beads, Beads and More Beads!

Every bride wants to stand out on their big day and wearing an embellished gown will definitely turn heads! Sparkle down the aisle in these gorgeous wedding dresses from Bella Amore and J&J Designs. If you’re a bride that’s planning on wearing two dresses, one for the aisle and one for the evening, consider a beaded dress for your evening party plans as it’s sure to glow under the disco lights!

Keeping It Simple and Stylish

Call it the Meghan Markle effect…. After Meghan opted for a bardot neckline and a clean silhouette, bridalwear with similar aesthetics have been in strong demand. We loved these simple, delicate designs on our catwalks that would be a perfect fit for a spring or summer wedding and thats why it mad our top Catwalk moments selection.
