Shaped Wedding Rings: A New Wedding Trend

Stephen Slade, of The Shaped Wedding Ring Company and Smooch Wedding Rings, has noticed a huge increase in the need for shaped wedding rings in the last couple of year and wants to share his insider knowledge on how best achieve this polished look.

Whilst engagement rings are absolutely beautiful on their own, it seems there has been little thought made by manufacturers to how a wedding ring will fit next to engagement ring designs. This is also likely not to be considered by the bride or groom either.

Whilst many wedding ring suppliers offer a facility to take your engagement ring and design a shaped wedding ring around it, the brides are generally not that happy about the idea of being without their engagement ring for some days or even weeks prior to their wedding day.

Alternatively, some companies take an impression of the engagement ring in a type of putty, rather than take the engagement ring. This means the bride does not need to part with her engagement ring but this can sometimes result in a not entirely perfect fit.

I believe bespoke shaped wedding rings can ensure it is the perfect pair to the engagement ring, creating a match made in heaven as if they were meant for each other (just like the newlyweds).
