Ted is delighted to be participating in this year’s National Wedding Show Olympia, where he will unveil his new Tie the Knot Bridal collection. The exclusive capsule collection is made up of five exquisitely crafted bridal styles that epitomise femininity, romanticism and modernity, and will be available online and in select Ted stores from mid-March 2017.
Exquisite detailing is the common thread that runs through the collection, from sparkling hand-sewn embellishments to modern laser-cut flowers. Ted knows that no two weddings are alike, so he has taken great care to craft a collection that will make every bride-to-be’s special day a thoroughly stylish affair.
Made for the modern bride, the BRITLEY gown showcases Ted’s unwavering attention to detail. An elegant slim-line silhouette is adorned with sculptural flowers for a unique shoulder detailing. The flowers were shaped by hand before being stitched together with a single glass bead, and a subtle slit in the gown allows for a glimpse of the bride’s shoes as she makes her way down the aisle.
For the carefree bride who wants to dance the night away, look no further than Ted’s ALISOT gown. With an elegant halter neckline and slightly shorter hem length, it is simply perfect for twirling on the dance floor. Pearl and jewel embellishments grace the collar and waistline, adding a feminine touch of sparkle to an otherwise understated cut.
The inspiration for the whimsical SAMTA dress came from the many unique designs that Ted discovered while browsing vintage shops at London’s Portobello market. A cascade of 3-D flowers brings texture to a ballerina tulle tutu skirt, perfect for a garden reception or vintage cocktail party to celebrate the newly-wedded couple.
A classic strapless bodice is delicately finished with shimmering thread and tiny gems, bringing an air of romance to the floor-length TEALA gown. Designed for the brides who have long dreamt of their wedding day, planning every detail, this quintessential bridal gown is the stuff of fairy tales.
For brides looking to make an unforgettable entrance, Ted’s ZAMISA dress is a true show-stopper. Inspired by Italian couture designs, the gown features dramatic clusters of crystal gems and glass beads, all applied to the bodice by hand. A mesh back gives the illusion of an open back, while offering support for a full satin skirt.
Following its debut at the National Wedding Show, the collection will be available exclusively at Tie The Knot Bridal boutiques, opening in select Ted Baker stores from mid-March 2017. Brides-to-be who attend the National Wedding Show will also have the first opportunity to book an in-store appointment including one to one styling advice and a glass of bubbly for your wedding party.
Ted Baker will be on stand C8 at The National Wedding Show at London, Olympia 17-19 February. See the Tie The Knot collection on the catwalk throughout the show.
