“The Guild of International Professional Toastmasters

Why do most of our Bride’s tell us that they couldn’t have managed without us?

Founded by the late Ivor Spencer MBE, DL., the best known Toastmaster of recent times, the Guild of International Professional Toastmasters prides itself on the scope and quality of its training school and the professionalism of its members.

With over 55 members throughout the UK and Europe, all trained to perform at the highest level at any event, our Toastmasters will ensure that your wedding will run exactly in line with your own wishes.
From the moment we are booked our members are available to assist you with useful tips and advice. A few weeks before your wedding we will contact you to confirm all the timings and the layout for the day, giving further advice at this time but remembering that it is your day and it will run in the way that you wish.

Arriving an hour before your ceremony at the venue or before your arrival from church, your Toastmaster will have liaised with the venue staff and be fully acquainted with all the services before you and your guests arrive.
Assisting the duty manager, Registrars, photographers, videographers, musicians and anyone else helping to make your wedding day the most wonderful day of your life is all part of the work. Ensuring that everything runs on time is an important part of our work. Liaising with the photographers and venue staff to invite your guests into the wedding breakfast on time ensures that the food arrives at the table, cooked to perfection.

Organising a receiving line, leading you into the wedding breakfast, saying Grace (if required), taking control of any presents you may wish to give to bridesmaids, parents or best men and inviting guests to sign the guest book are all part of the work.

Introducing the speeches, cutting the cake, organising the bouquet throwing and inviting the guests to the dance floor for your first dance are all taken care of.

Our Guild is delighted to exhibit again this year at the National Wedding Shows at Olympia in February and September and the NEC Birmingham and Manchester in autumn.

We are again running our very popular ‘Win your Wedding Toastmaster’ competition at each show. Visit our stand to say ‘Hello’ and you could enjoy the services of one of our Toastmasters free of charge.”

You can find out more about what The Guild of International Professional Toastmasters have to offer at The National Wedding Show in London Olympia this Spring from 17th -19th February 2017 and at all of our Autumn 2017 shows!
