Trish and Malcolm’s Real Wedding

Trish and Malcolm and 80 of their closest friends and family, celebrated in style in a beautiful wedding at Warwick Castle.

The Love Story:

Trish and Malcolm met on a Caribbean cruise, whilst Malcolm was working onboard the ship, and Trish was celebrating her birthday. Trish spotted him early on, and plucked up the confidence to start a conversation one day when she found herself sat next to him in the coffee shop.

4 years down the road, they were back on a Caribbean cruise when Malcolm proposed over dinner

The Wedding Planning:

During their 18 month engagement, the couple planned everything themselves. Their main criteria was to be surrounded by loved ones, and also find a venue they could return to year after year, and not find it had been bulldozed!

They kept everything simple, and with Kayleigh, Event Manager at Warwick Castle, guiding them every step of the way, they found the wedding planning process easy and stress free.

The Big Day:

The day itself was perfect, with a ceremony in the State Dining Room, followed by a reception in The Great Hall. And, despite forecasts of heavy rain, there was barely a drop. Instead, they were greeted with a beautiful rainbow when heading out for their photos with photographer Sam Boxall.

Trish’s dress was found in Morgan Davies Bridal, whilst the men’s formalwear was from Slaters.
Trish’s favourite part of the whole day was when they finally said ‘I do’, becoming husband and wife, before eating, drinking, and being merry!

The party continued into the evening with music from The Cover Ups, and cake from Miss Lola’s Bakehouse.
The couple felt so privileged to be married in a castle, that they have already booked the Tower Suites for their first anniversary!
